Clean room, convenient accommodation
We stayed at the Sternen Oerlikon for 2 nights while on a short trip to Zurich. Sternen Oerlikon is located in suburbs of Oerlikon, a few minutes' walk to Zurich's Exhibition Centre, 10 minutes by car to the city center. The hotel is right next to a tram stop and there are buses that run into Zurich. There are numerous restaurants around. Our room was simple and clean, including a bathroom that transformed itself into a shower stall. We did not expect much and actually received exactly what we planned. All in all, Sternen Oerlikon offered a clean accommodation and convenient location – all for a reasonable price.

The Sternen Oerlikon is a very clean budget hotel located in a nice suburb of Zurich. Our room was small with a comfortable double bed (2 singles put together) and a couple of sitting chairs and round table. The bathroom was adequate but the sink was inside the bedroom. Our room faced the main street occupied by a constant flow of trams, and buses but it was very quiet at night. The hotel is about five easy walking blocks from the main train station in Oerlikon (if you have luggage, you will have to negotiate the steps in the train station). We loved the stay here because it was a good value - about three miles from the center of Zurich, quiet, friendly and easily accessible.
