The "Villa Marilor" Hotel is situated in a small palace included in the Register of Historic Buildings and Monuments. It owes its unique name to one of its previous owners, Maria Eleonora.

This eclectic building erected in 1912 for the Szczeniowski family was originally an elegant guesthouse. The unique combination of the local style typical of Zakopane and Tyrolese architecture evokes associations with the tradition of the most famous European health resorts.

In the post-war years, that historic palace had many owners. Among others, it functioned as a guesthouse of the Central Committee of the Polish Youth Association. In the period between 1956 and the late 1990s, when it was reprivatised, it housed the famous Secondary School of Fine Arts named after Antoni Kener.

The lack of financial means for thorough restoration and alteration works brought about the gradual dilapidation of that historic building. Its present owner, the company ZETWU INWEST HOTELE MARILOR Sp. z o.o., carried out the overhaul of the palace and restored its former glory.

Since the date of its inauguration, on September 29, 2001, "Villa Marilor" has performed its original function. Its guests find there the hospitality that is so traditional of Zakopane.

LOCATION

"Villa Marilor” is located in the center of Zakopane, at Kosciuszki Street. The following facilities and institutions are located nearby: the Town Hall, the bus and railway station, minibus station, banks, a shopping mall and other important facilities. This street leads to the town's main pedestrian precinct for walkers and shoppers - Krupowki.

"Villa Marilor” is located just near Rowien Krupowa meadow, with one of the most beautiful sights of the range of Tatras over Zakopane.

Though "Villa Marilor" is situated in the town center, the place is peaceful and quiet. The facility is surrounded with a valuable old park of the area c.a. 2 ha.
The hotel's premises are surrounded with a fence, and the entrance gate is closed for the night. This assures peace and safety for our guests.

* The relaxation center is open daily from 10.00 to 22.00. Jacuzzi can be used by 5 adult persons at a time.
