Hua Hin is a popular seaside resort in Thailand. It is situated on the north of Cha Am and south of Bangkok. The climate of Hua Hin is tropical with occasional rain and high humidity. Brief History
Before the birth of Hua Hin in 1834, there were agricultural areas in the province of Phetchaburi that suffered from severe drought. The affected farmers relocated southward where they discovered a small village with white sands and plenty of rocks on the beach. They decided to settle in the area and named it Samore Riang (rows of rock).
Events, Landmarks, Activities
Enjoy cool music and relaxing ambiance during the Hua Hin Jazz Festival in June. This annual jazz fest takes place on the beach and showcases performances from some of the finest jazz musicians in the world. The Hua Hin Beach is the main attraction of this town, but there are other places that are worth-visiting such as the Klai Kangwon Palace, Hua Hin Arts and Crafts Centre and Hua Hin Railway Station.
