I stayed at this IBIS for 3 weeks and found each day to be very relaxing and pleasant. Upon arrival, the IBIS staff were very friendly and accommodating to my needs. Although their English is not fluent, the staff made every chance to satisfy my requests. The room was clean and large (for European standards!) The beds separated into 2 twin beds, each had very clean sheets and pillows. It was quite comfortable! The en suite bathroom is "cozy" and the shower was one of the smallest I?€™ve ever seen - but it isn?€™t anything you couldn?€™t creatively handle. Each room has a TV with a wide range of stations - but you won?€™t want to waste your time in the room, Antwerp is an amazing city to explore day and night! The breakfast buffet always provided a tasty morning treat (usually meats, cheeses, croissants and yogurts). Some tips though?€? the front desk will meter your postcards to send home (it saves a long trip to the post office!) And ask for a room facing away from the park, it gets quite noisy early in the morning on the weekends when the market is set up. The Ibis is a great location, just minutes away from the Meir (a popular shopping street downtown) and is quite cheap!
