Pleasant stay
During our stay in Imperial hotel we found heating and hot water services a bit insufficient, however location, large room, breakfast service compensated the water inconvinience and made our stay pretty much pleasant.

This 3 star hotel enjoys very much convenient location. Our room was very lovely. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, our stay was of exceptional value for money. Had a very nice time. |

Very much pleased
The hotel is withn easy walking distance to city center, shopping, and entertainment. Rooms were very comfortable. Parking was close to the hotel (less then a 2 minute walk) and in a safe, guarded car park. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever they could be. I was very much pleased with my stay at Imperial Hotel.

It's just Ok
The best thing about the Imperial Hotel is its location. An easy walk across Eyre Square from the train station and just adjacent to the city center places it close to most any place you might want to go. The rooms are servicable, if a bit dated and faded. Wireless internet is only available in the common areas on the ground and 1st floor. It’s a good thing Blakes Bar is one of those places -- a warm and friendly space, it’s one of those rare hotel bars that attracts locals, making for a nice mix of conversation around the room.

One of the best hotel we stayed in while in Ireland. The locaction could not be any better. Overlooking Eyre Square the hotel has a beautiful view. Around the corner and down 1 short block is Shop street(aka High street or Henry street) which is a pedestrian street full of shops and pubs. At the end of this street is Galway bay. The atmosphere is wonderful, Galway is a very young upbeat town full of charm and character. The hotel staff is very nice and willing to help or give you directions. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious and up to date. The breakfast area is nice and the buffet is the full irish. The pictures on the web do not do the hotel justice, it is a very pretty and quaint hotel. I can not say anything about lunch or dinner at the hotel b/c with so many great pubs and restaurants in Galway who would want to stay in their hotel. This hotel has probably one of the locations in Galway city centre and I would definetly stay here again. |
