Inspired by a graceful sailboat, InterContinental Dubai Festival City stands tall amid the business and shopping districts. If you’re in town on business, you’ll appreciate the proximity to Burj Dubai, the Business Bay and Dubai World Trade Centre, but leisure options are also convenient. Bastakiya, Dubai Museum and Al Mamzar Beach Park are nearby.

LOCATION

Intercontinental Dubai Festival City Hotel is set to become a new landmark. Located on Dubai creek with stunning views in every direction and just a ten minute drive from Dubai International Airport.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* Anise:

Anise covers a lot of territory, not only in terms of size, but in its interesting choice of multi-ethnic foods and stunning forest-and-ice design theme. The ultra-modern décor is warmed by live cooking stations where you’ll have a chance to converse with the chefs and sample a variety of dishes before making your selections. Lovely views of the creek are an added bonus.

* Edamame:

You won’t find a more authentic Japanese dining experience outside Japan than in Edamame, our promenade restaurant overlooking the marina. Live stations offer traditional sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki, robatayaki, yakitori, kaizen, tempura and ramen dishes, and there’s also a sake and shochu bar serving chilled and warm Japanese beverages to complete your meal. A live fish tank and new wave Japanese music are the finishing touches.

* Al Sultan Brahim Beirut:

When one of Lebanon’s most celebrated restaurant families decided to bring their famous Al Sultan Brahim Beirut to the region, no location but the InterContinental Dubai Festival City would do. Known for the very finest Arabic seafood, this welcoming eatery will also delight you with live Arabic music, traditional shisha pipe smoking and an invitation to walk across the stepping stones to dine at an exclusive “water table.”

* Bristro Madeleine:

A restaurant named Bistro Madeleine could be nothing other than a French brasserie known for its delightful fare and freshly baked pastries and breads. Even the décor will remind you of a traditional neighbourhood café in the centre of Paris – this one frequented by locals and travellers who often stop in for a leisurely lunch or a quiet, casual dinner.

* Reflects by Pierre Gagnaire:

Three-Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire made his mark on the global stage when his Parisian restaurant was named third best in the world by Restaurant magazine. To the delight of Dubai locals and visitors, he brings his inimitable style to Reflects by Pierre Gagnaire, located on the hotel promenade. The upscale menu boasts specialties the chef calls “multisensory hits,” created by blending unexpected tastes and textures for a truly adventurous dining experience.

* Vista Lounge:

Only a ship in Dubai Creek could give you a better view of the harbour and the Sheikh Zayed skyline than Vista Lounge. This relaxed bar hovers above the water and surrounds you with floor-to-ceiling windows to create stunning pictures in every direction. This will probably be one of your favourite spots in the hotel for afternoon or evening cocktails and live piano music.
