For a welcome break away from the noise of the city then take a ferry and head for the Princes Islands. Get off at the last stop Büyük adasi (Big Island) and take a horse drawn carriage ride. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the Islands. Shoppers should head for Niþantasi Taksim or one of shopping centres that are opening everywhere such as Çevahir. Night birds head for Taksim where there are numerous bars and clubs catering for every taste. |
