Restoration during the 1980s established the resort as a historic hotel with modern amenities in unspoiled natural surroundings.
* The Jekyll Island Club Hotel consists of five main buildings surrounded by landscaped grounds in the center of the Jekyll Island Historic District. Period furnishings and ornate woodwork inside complement the atmosphere created by an exterior tower, bay windows, and verandas. Several boutiques and collectible shops now operate on site. Business facilities include eight meeting rooms and a ballroom for 150.
