I think this hotel has the best location in Galway. You're a very short walk to all the main bars and restuarants in the city and the staff were always very pleasant and helpful. The central location meant we were able to get the train from Dublin right into the city centre and then it was only a 5 minute walk to the hotel! The bar, lobby and restaurant all looked very new and modern and the I found the rooms very clean. Thoroughly enjoyed my weekend in Galway here. |

I thought this hotel was great. The location is excellent & the staff were very friendly. We had a room at the front, but it wasn't too noisy & everything else more than made up for that. We also looked out over the bay which was priceless. Great trip. |

I went to stay with a friend in Jurys Inn Galwayin August 02. I meant to write this sooner. I was never more impressed with a hotel my intire life. On arrival at reception I met the most pleasant receptionist her name was Jo as she was so helpful. She told us the best pubs to go to and all the best tourist attractions. The bedroom was sparkling not a speck of dust. It was like walking into a newly opened hotel. There were plenty of towels, cable, and a wonderful view of the spanish arch and flowing water. The restaurant was our next quest The staff had such an atmosphere anmongst them you could see they were friends and you felt an almost longing to become part of their friendship. They were the atmosphere those three waiters two boys and a girl all with great respect for each other. Boy did we tip. Myself and my friend then ventured the town and were having ourselves a merry old time and then towards the end of the night who do we spot only the the four of our favourite Jurys staff Jo, Patricia, Kenneth and Thomas and more of their friends and what did they do but invite us over and buy us a drink with the tips we gave them. We had the best night we had in a long time and its all because we stayed at Jurys Inn Galway. Thank You for Showing us a Great Night And a Great Working Enviroment. We learnt more that night than we did in our years Studying Hotel Management. |

We spent 2 days in Galway at the Jury's Inn in May 02. The price was reasonable and the location was perfect. We had a view of the canal and could watch the swans and we right in the middle of all the shops, pubs, etc. The hotel is directly across from the Spanish Arch. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and there were drink and snack machines on our floor. I would have liked to have room service but that was not available. I would definitely stay there again. |

My girlfriend and I (26 and 24) sayed here for two nights over the weekend in June 2004. The room was fine althought nothing special - reasonable size, decor okay and clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The best thing was the location, with a view of the harbour and a stone's throw away from the lively nightlife. On the downside it can be a bit noisey and there were a couple of stag nights staying - I got one call at about 3 a.m. from a fellow Glaswegian on a stag night who got the wrong room. To sum up I will go back to Galway - great place - and would be happy to stay here again. I might however pay the price and upgrade to the Raddison which looks great. |
