* The JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa will undergo a restoration of its building exterior from September 17 through November 12, 2012. The restoration will consist of painting and sealing the exterior, resulting in a fresh, new appearance for the building.

For this reason, the Hotel will not be accepting room reservations for this period.

Although guests will not be able to stay overnight at the hotel, Catering, Restaurant and Spa operations will be open. The Hokulani Ballroom, Lagoon Lawn, and Lanikuhonua will remain operational for catered events. Ushio-Tei and Azul restaurants will open for dinner and the Ihilani Spa will continue its normal schedule. As guest service is essential to the JW Marriott experience, associates will use this time to focus on service training and "spring cleaning" to further elevate the guests' experience.

With the completion of this project and the recently finished room, suite and spa renovations, the Hotel will have a fresh new look on the outside and the inside. The hotel looks forward to welcoming guests back to an experience that will be better than ever.

* Rooms at this Kapolei hotel include signature bedding with thick mattresses, separate pillowtops, down comforters, 300-thread-count sheets, and extra pillows. Marble bathrooms have twin vanities, lighted mirrors, scales, phones, soaking tubs, and separate stall showers.
