Decent resort but our room was the pits
My wife and I stayed two nights at this resort. Our first impression was very good of the facilities. The nice pools, the nice snorkelling area and the nice resteraunt areas. Then we got to our room which was a sea view doulble room. The double beds were two singles, not really a problem but the mattresses were not comforatible. The worst part was the smell of the room. The toilet vented back into the bathroom (!!) and when ever you flushed, the room smelt like a sewer. We ended up having to air out the washroom and using wet towels to cover the vent. The room also was spartan in furnishings and very 70's in style. Nothing special. The view from the patio was nice but since we were in the higher up rooms, a bit of a hike with our luggage. For the price it was decent but we only stayed in the room to sleep because of the smell. We complained at the desk but apparently there were no other open rooms. The maintenance person's fix was to put an upside down stool over the vent. I would stay again for the facilites but pay more for a better room!
