elegant and luxurious
Very comfortable stay! I have recently stayed at this hotel on my business trip to Berlin. It was a wonderful stay without any trouble. Reception is very helpful. The hotel has a great location near the train station, metro, many shops and attractions. It is tastefully decorated. My room was very clean and well furnished. I loved the sound proof windows I had a comfortable sleep! The hotel bar is wonderful,

Very good!
I recently attended to a business meeting took place at Kempinski Bristol Hotel and stayed there for 3 days. The hotel is a smart hotel (just like other hotels in the chain) offering modern facilities for the comfort of the guests. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. My room was comfortably furnished with air condition, TV, telephone and many other modern amenities. After the meetings it was so nice relax and get rid of the stresses of the business life in the hotel's heated indoor pool. Massage service was another way of relaxation of course. Hotel restaurant was decent offering delicious dishes. I would definitely go back to this hotel for a "real" holiday with my wife and son next time.

Thanks for recommending this hotel
I am writing to you for complimenting you on the choice you gave us re Berlin, ie to go to the Kempinski Bristol. From the initial welcome from the doorman who took our cases and then had them delivered to our room, the very helpful and pleasant young lady at the reception desk, the friendly staff at the swimming pool, and the wonderful cuisine in the restaurant and attentive staff there to the domestic staff who left the bedroom spotlessly clean daily. It was a wonderful experience!! We have stayed at 5* Hotels before, but have NEVER been given hot wet cloths with which to wipe our hands before commencing the meal...fabulous!! The only minus was the slightly whiffy odour at times from the vent in the bathroom, but we know this can happen in lots of areas in Berlin due to the drainage system in that city. It certainly did not spoil our stay. Thank you again for recommending that hotel... We will book with you again, as both our reservations using your company, have been first class. I cannot praise this hotel enough. We got a great deal through gtahotels. Hotel is opposite bus stop 109 from Tegel airport. Public areas are impressive and the attentiveness of staff is excellent. The room was on the street but well insulated from noise. The air cooling was just about OK (its was 32 degrees outside). Room was small but well appointed and there was a lovely bath. Toiletries were very nice. The street cafe attached to the hotel was great for people watching with some very tasy ice creams (Rhubarb was my favourite) and you can charge things to your room. The local drink (beer with fruit flavours) or as they say `with Schuss` was most appealing. The cocktail bar in the hotel was welcoming, with most cocktails about 12 euros. The whole hotel was very quiet. We didnt have breakfast in the hotel but found some great local places at half the price. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
We enjoyed Berlin but the public transport is hard to get your head around as overground and underground lines are shown on the same map.
The Berlin Card which you can buy at the airport gives you unlimited public transport and discounts on admissions to many attractions.
To get into the Reichstag`s dome you need to queue. We got there at 8am when it opened and still had to queue, but it was the highlight of the holiday. Opposite the hotel is the `Story of Berlin` a pretty average museum but the entrance ticket also gives you a guided tour of a 1970s nuclear bunker which we found very interesting.
We travelled all over the city late at night and never felt threatened, and everyone we talked to was friendly and helpful.

Excellent hotel with great deals. Very close to the Kudamm for shopping and the zoo. Train station is an easy 5 minute walk away. The pool is great for a city hotel and the staff is friendly.
Easily recommended.

Visited with my daughter just after Easter 2004. Booked through gtahotels with flight at incredibly competitive price. The hotel is very centrally located for shopping (bus from Tegel airport stops right outside). Room was very comfortable with a really comfortable bed.
Perhaps the room was a little on the small side for a 5 star hotel.
Service was superb. Concierge obtained tickets for a sold out play with one day's notice.Swimming pool and sauna great too. Highly recommended.
We would stay again without hesitation.

I have stayed at the Kempinski Bristol on two occasions this year - during August and also mid-November. The rooms are nicely appointed and well soundproofed. The best thing is the staff - they are extremely helpful, and the whole place is nice and laid back for a five star hotel. Although it was not cheap, it was good value for money in a good location and I would recommend it to anyone.

This hotel was fine and is within a short walk from the train station. I want to warn you about taking a shower there though. We neither drink, nor take medications that would cause this...but the tub was so slippery that we both fell out of the tub. My husband took a bad spill onto the floor...my fall was broken by the shower curtain. When we were checking out, we told them what had happened but they ignored our statements. We felt they should take steps to insure it would not happen to anyone else.
