It was a wonderful week - we had delicious food and the service was very nice. A lot of possibilities for non-skier as well - like sledging, snowshoewalking and lots more. My husband and I just can recommend this hotel.

Pleasant hotel right in the middle of town. Very convenient for the train station (the ski train takes you up one side of the valley), and there is a bus stop opposite for buses to the other lifts. Staff were friendly, breakfast excellent, room spacious, comfortable, and quiet. I only wish we had discovered the hot tub and sauna in the hotel a bit sooner.
Alll in all, a very good experience, and Grindelwald was a good place to ski as well for intermediates, the only real drawback being a fairly long wait for the first lift of the day.
