La Margherita opens since 1951, restored in 1997 and 2003, always managed by the Masia family. Hotel La Margherita is the most centrally-located 3-stars-class hotel of Alghero. It is close to the old town, 100meters from the rocky beaches along Lungomare Dante (bathing allowable), 250 meters from the Cathedral and from the marina. Airport shuttle bus is 50 meters away.
The hotel is located in Algheros' centre, just minutes away from the beach. All the rooms are medium in size and in very good conditions. The decorations of the rooms vary. The majority of them have been decorated in a typical Mediterranean style. |

Situated in the heart of Alghero's old town, La Margherita is just 100 metres from the rock-beach Lungomare Dante and 300 metres from the Cathedral and the tourist port.
From the touristic port, the guests can get by boat to the grottoes of Neptune, natural caves at sea level, under Capo Caccia (reachable by car too: to get to the grottoes there is a stairway of 650 steps). |
