Mar 29, 2011 The La Perouse Hotel offers the feel of a private residence in one of the most acclaimed tourist destinations and the most popular city after Paris, Nice. This peaceful 4-star retreat is tucked away in the hillside at one end of the Promenade des Anglais.

Guests are guaranteed an unforgettable stay as everything one could possibly need is easily available at La Perouse, such as a charming Provencal cuisine restaurant, open swimming pool, Jacuzzis, a solarium, sauna and a fitness room. Each of its 4 suites and 58 bedrooms combine traditional style with modern amenities.

Recently renovated, this tastefully appointed hotel has a relaxing and sophisticated ambience. Luxuriously appointed Provencal interiors beckon all those looking for a place to stay that combines old world charm with modern comforts. Interestingly, one particular window at La Perouse Hotel offers a vantage point that has inspired famous artists, such as Dufy and Matisse.

LOCATION

Located at the foot of Castle Hill in Nice, La Perouse Hotel is right by the picturesque Saleya walkway, famous for its flower market. The hotel is perfectly situated to grant magnificent views of the Promenade des Anglais and the famous Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels). A little beyond the Cours Saleya walkway, is the Palais des Rois Sardes (Palace of the Kings of Sardinia), a collection of fine pubs and restaurants offering Nicois cuisine.
