Outstanding value for money hotel, except the non central location
I was on a short business trip to Salzburg, where I’ve stayed at La Residence Jean Sebastien Bach. Overall, it was a nice experience. The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood close to the European institutions and right next to the Orangerie park, although not in the city center, however, downtown is only a short cab ride away.
The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. It was a nice bonus to have a private balcony, and the kitchenette was useful. The breakfast was good and the service excellent.
All in all, La Residence Jean Sebastien Bach Hotel was an outstanding value for money, expect not very central location.

This hotel has great accomodations for the business traveler and large families. We are family of four (couple with 16 year old & 2 year old). In our room, we had a kitchenette with all utensils, expensive snacks, a HUGE bathroom and separate toilet, a balcony with terrace furniture. One dbl bed was located in a separate bedroom, while the second dbl bed was a foldout sofa. Each bed had it's own TV - great for adults & kids who need a break from one another. (heehee!)
Location is okay. It's in a safe neighborhood with lots of street parking. There is a nice park within walking distance. The city center is a short 5 minute drive away... or a long walk for those daring to walk the distance with small children!
We would definitely stay here again! |
