Peace Of Mind
Beautiful Hotel with very frendly staff except the internet is very expensive would love to return back if Internet is cheaper |

better than just a 3 star hotel
I was on a short break to Zagreb earlier in September where I stayed at Laguna Hotel. The rooms are basic, but very clean. My room was actually laid out like a small studio flat. It had a small square hallway with fitted wardrobe, a door into the bathroom, and a door into the main room - the dark wood everywhere makes the rooms seem darker than they actually are! The bathroom was small, but clean and everything worked properly.
The hotel is very large, and used to have two blocks of accommodation, however only one has been renovated and is in use, the other sits derelict and empty on top of the bar and restaurant. The common areas are pleasant enough - outdated, but large and spacious. There is a nice bar and restaurant. The staff was friendly and spoke excellent English. The hotel is located quite conveniently in a safe area - 15 minutes
walk to town. The trams to town are a 5 minute walk away.
During my stay there was group of german school children were occupying the same floor with me, so the noise at any time of the day could not be avoided. Make sure in advance that there are no groups coming in during your stay. Plus side is that it cost less than half the price of more central 3 star hotels. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Laguna hotel, and would definitely stay here again!
