Le Palais is a small, 60 room, recently opened hotel. It is a member of the Small Leading Hotels of the World and the service is excellent.
Upon check in we were shown all the public rooms so we didn't have to go in search of anything. We were shown the lobby bar, the library where a lovely log fire was burning and the restaurant before being invited to have a welcome drink in the lobby. The room was a bit of a dissapointment. It was very small, as was the the bathroom, and cluttered. The bed was excellent with two single duvets and huge feather pillows. There is a complimentary mini bar as well as the dressing gowns, slippers etc. Wardrobe space is virtually non-existent.
Breakfast was very good and plentiful. The hotel is set in a quiet area and is a good half hour walk away from the Old Town but the hotel runs a limousine service which will take you there for aprox ?8 or there is a metro for aprox 50 pence. The hotel also provides a transfer service to andfrom the airport for aprox ?19 each way.

First class service, superb rooms and well being centre. If you like to be pampered this is the place. Concierge will arrange everything for you, from arranging taxis to booking a table at the restaurant of your choice. Would thoroughly reccommend it to anyone.

We stayed here for 3 nights in August 03. We arrived very late at night at about 11pm and were amazed to be greeted by a full compliment of staff and a complemetary drink at the little bar- what a lovely welcome. We were then shown to a lovely air conditioned room with a big en-suite bathroom. The room and its facilities are more that adequate for a city break. The bed was very comfy and got made and turned down every day by the staff. There were dressing gowns, slippers and toiletries provided- as well as the free mini bar, which was restocked every single day. The breakfast was great and we spent two mornings out on the beautiful terrace in the summer sun. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the metro and some of the main attractions. Once you get used to the metro it is clean and cheap. Walking back from the metro to the hotel in the dark is a little daunting in the dark but there is a slightly longer way on the main roads. We would definately revisit just for the friendly staff. We weren't due to leave until 9pm and they kept our bags all day (free)for us so we could do last minute sightseeing.

This hotel was amazing in every way and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. We came here for Valentines weekend. The staff are friendly the moment you walk in, and you can have a glass of champagne to relax before you are taken to your luxurious room. The rooms are a good size and the bathrooms have speakers so you can relax in your oversized bath with a glass of wine. The free minibar is a plus, and the free breakfast in the bedroom was fantastic. It is a short walk from the the main sights, about 10 minutes, and definitely remember to take your swimming cossie to take advantage of the luxurious whirlpool!

Just got back from Prague yesterday and had to rave about the service and care we received from LePalais. Took the family and they enjoyed being spoiled and pampered by the wonderful staff and services.
Nice size room and package for the cost. Would recommend to anyone headed to CZ.

This hotel is excellent! Upon arrival - having been collected from the airport in a hotel limo - we were greeted by the Manager and taken to the bar for a complimentary drink and welcome.
We were upgraded to a suite which was so good. Large comfortable bed, excellent views and amazing bathroom. free minibar and lovely bath robes and slippers
Meals were great and although a little out of the centre it is a few minutes and very cheap to get a cab.
It really is the best hotel I have ever stayed in and beats any other 5 star in Europe hands down.
