Linna Hotel, a hotel of high international standard, welcomes you to a distinctive setting. Architecturally, Linna Hotel, is one of the finest examples of Finnish art nouveau or jugend style. This granite fortress, a bold architectural statement in its day, has been refurbished into a modern hotel. Linna Hotel has long been known as Vanha Poli (Old Poly). Designed by architects Walther Thomé and Karl Lundahl, the building was opened on 31 October 1903. Today, the building is considered as one of Finland’s finest examples of Finnish jugend, national romanticism. |

I enjoyed many parties there, because in the last century this well decorated place dating from 1910 has been the H:ki student center "Poli".
