I found the hotel without too much difficulty from the Marco Polo waterbus. Turn left as you get off the boat, over a small bridge, pass Harrys Bar turn right, to the end of the lane, turn left cross over the first bridge, immediate left passed the Gondoliers ...

I shopped around forever, to find a reasonably priced hotel in Venice on a canal. Decided on the Lisbona and were very satisfied with our Sept 2003 stay. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean. The hotel is along a side canal, facing the 5-star Hotel Baur. ...
