Excellent location. Beautiful rooms with elegant baths. Great service. THE place to stay in Venice from our perspective.

We stayed at the Danieli on our honeymoon, but felt the Luna B was better (staying there a few years later). Not only are the staff more courteous and helpfull, but the atmosphere is extremely relaxing and comfortable. When in Venice the Danieli is a must to visit, but I would never want to stay anywhere other than the Luna B.

I stayed at this hotel in Feb 03. The single I was in was small but very elegant. The hotel has an excellent location. The breakfast room alone is worth the price. I sat there for nearly two hours just enjoying the room's magnificance over a very relaxing and excellent breakfast. Highly recommended!

Booked this hotel over the internet after an extensive search into best location vs price vs amenities. What a find! It was extremely hot in Venice - 20/07/03 for two nights - but the hotel lobby, breakfast room and ind rooms were cool and comfortable. The breakfast contained everything from eggs and bacon, to pastry of all kinds, to salmon, sausage, ham and cheeses. The front desk was always ready to help. Venice was enhanced by our stay at this hotel.

Was able to stay at the Luna Baglioni at a discounted rate through my travel agent. The hotel has the ideal location, the staff was extremely friendly (they went out of their way to help), the rooms were very comfortable. Can't say enough good things about it. Especially if you can get a 5 star hotel for what you'd pay at a 3 star...

We enjoyed the Luna, but were a bit surprised that it's considered a five-star. The hotel lobby is elegant, the setting is great, and the location off San Marco can't be beat. However, our room was nothing special and was rather worn. (Our internet booking engine promised that all deluxe rooms at our rate had canal views, but each of our windows overlooked other walls.) The desk staff was also somewhat surly, and not overly helpful. For us, this made the experience much less pleasant. We live in Europe and have traveled extensively, and would not consider this a true five-star hotel. However, in its defense, it is clean and is arguably good value when considering other hotel rates in Venice. If you're looking for a good location and good rates, this is an ok choice--just don't expect five-star perfection. One more note--nearly all the guests seemed to be American.

Visited Venice in August with my wife, daughter(10), son(8) and parents. Having never been to Venice prior was relying on other peoples opinion for hotel choice. Bauer was recommended to us but I came across the Luna and it seemed to be a better value with comparable location. After a very long, hot, drive, boat trip and walk from Tuscany we found the Luna to be terrific. I asked for adjoining rooms for the children and were given one large corner room adjoining a small but comfortable room. The location was perfect for the things we wanted to do. Each morning the first thing we did was to walk next door to San Marco and feed the birds then went back to the hotel for breakfast which was great. The kids got a kick out of catching a gondola right by the front door. Our final highlight was leaving by water taxi again by the front door and cruising down the Grand Canal.

I selected this hotel from a travel magazine that rated it one of the top hotels in the world. Also, gtahotels reviews were all positive. The location is great, steps from San Marco. Easy acess by water taxi, dock at hotel entrance. While the hotel appears nicely decorated,I have to say I was somewhat disappointed by the very small room(superior single). Everything else was average, service, breakfast, front desk, etc. My opinion is, this hotel is very expensive and over rated. I would try another hotel before I stay here again.

We stayed at the Baglioni the first week in June. We had a room on the 5th floor with unbelievable views. The room was large and the bathroom was the largest and best of all the five star hotels we enjoyed in Europe (seven in total). Great location, beautiful rooms and although it is expensive, what in Venice isn't.

We stayed here in February 2003 and really loved it. We thought it was the most incredible bargain we've ever had in an extreme high-end hotel. Been to Venice three times in the past two years, and we will stay at the Luna Baglioni from now on. You will really love both the location and the hotel. It's right at the vaporetto stop at San Marco. You can walk anywhere from this location. Our room was really beautiful -- not huge but not too small either. Lovely bath. Beautifully decorated. First class all the way. Enjoy!
