The Luz Del Mar Hotel is build according to the traditional Mediterranean architectural style, occupying a spacious garden in a peaceful environment that feature a large outdoor swimming pool.

Surrounded by the Teno Mountains and the National Park El Teide, the Luz Del Mar Hotel, situated in the fertile north-western region of Tenerife creates an ideal setting for those seeking vacation in somewhat exotic and exciting location.

LOCATION

Public buses cover most of the island, while taxis and rent cars are ideal for travelling to remote areas. One of the more elegant ways of travelling is by the trans-Mediterranean ferry that reaches other Canary Islands and mainland Spain.

The Luz Del Mar hotel is situated in the heart of Isla Baja or the Lowlands, in the town of Los Silos that has many tourist attractions. Famous for its exotic landscape and the plant and animal life, Isla Baja offer a multitude of walking and hiking trails in and around the Teno Mountains, Rambla de Castro, El Teide National Park and the Barranco de Masca.

Named after 3 grain silos built in the 15th century, the main attraction of the Los Silos town centre is the 16th century Church of Nuestra Seora de La Luz (Our Lady of the Light). The adjoining 17th century Convent of San is also worth a visit. Every December, Los Silos gears up to host one of the most fascinating festivals in Tenerife, The International Story Telling Festival.
