Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa, Windermere is ideal for exploring the Lake District and Cumbria. Attractive gardens run down to its own jetties on the shores of Windermere where guests may secure their boats.

The hotel rejoices in mature gardens, with lawns down to the lakeside, its own private jetties and moorings, and a permit to fish on the lake. Outside is the bustling village of Bowness, with its many shops and amenities. Cruises, sailing, watersports and golf are available nearby.
