Great hotel - modern and civilised but what impressed me was the superb personal service from all the staff. We were 2 women travelling together - got lots of hassle in other hotels but here we were very well looked after and a very secure hotel! SUPER

Lovely hotel, helpful staff.....parking garage. Wonderful breakfast.

My friend and I stayed here seven nights from December 30, 2003. On previous visits I've stayed at Parkers and the Santa Lucia. Both are great hotels but the Majestic is extrordinary for its service and modern comforts. We were in room 804 which is huge by Italian standards and which had a lovely large bathroom and fantastic view across the bay to Capri. Its Chiaia locaton is perfect, just a short walk to Piazza Vittoria on the bay and a twenty minute walk to Galeria Umberto, the Teatro San Carlo and Via Roma. The selection of shops is nice and there is even a small department store around the corner. The Piazza Amadeo Metro stop is just a few blocks away. The staff makes this hotel shine. Their kindness and efficiency made our visit a joy.

The view from our room on the top floor was amazing. The hotel is well-equipped with all the amenities. It was clean, friendly, and accommodating. We wish the bellhop had explained all of the features in our room (light switches, window blinds, etc. are all electronic) and the room was actually chilly due to air conditioning. However, the space was beautiful and the front desk helpful. I was disappointed not to be able to find any Internet connections in the entire neighborhood, but we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for three nights in August 2004. A small bit of the beaten track, but was very quiet which is welcomed in this crazy city.
We had a room with a beautiful sea view, and all the mod cons you'd expect including a bath and a shower in the bathroom.
We didn't see many other guests during our stay and accordingly the hotel felt quiet empty and lonely.
