Belying its modern exterior, the Majestic Palace Hotel is a classically-styled property located in the centre of a residential area, 300 metres from the beach and one kilometre from Sorrento town centre. It is surrounded by orange groves and commands views over the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius.
There are 96 guestrooms with light modern decor spread over seven floors. Rooms feature air-conditioning benefit from bathrobes and minibars,and are equipped with cable television and direct-dial phones.
The Majestic Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, serving a range of traditional regional specialties and international cuisine; there is a weekly buffet and gala dinner with live music in the bar. Art lovers can visit the Museo Correale di Terranova 1.5 kilometres from the hotel, and sightseers can visit the Roman villas 10 kilometres away. The hotel is approximately 50 kilometres or around an hour's drive from Naples Airport. |

USER COMMENTS
4 star lounge areas rooms clean but tired and barely 3 star. Always request a room on the 4th floor with a sea view, as some have no view at all.
Food is very poor in choice and quality, and quite expensive.
On site parking is difficult as it is limited and ...
