Just returned from Switzerland and spent 3 nights at the Mandarin Oriental. The Location was excellent and the concierge was very helpful. The room was nice with a king size bed and the shower had great water pressure. The spa was clean but rather small. The airconditioner was rather week and we felt warm in the room at night even though the outside temp was only in the 60's. The view was of a courtyard and was not very nice so the drapes were kept closed for privacy. The tv was small for such a nice hotel. Only about 17 inches and there were only a few english channels (BBC, CNN, MTV, CNBC). This was the same for all the hotels in Switzerland so you get to watch alot of news but little other programming. The staff of the hotel went out of their way to help and were delightful at all times. The food was ok but nothing special. However we were part of a group and only ate from the group events. There was only one large room key which was left at the front desk when you left the hotel. This was kind of an inconvenience. As my wife and I were in the spa and it was hard to time the return to the room at the same time as only one of us had a key. All in all the hotel was very nice and I would stay there again but it did not have the charm of some of the older hotels in Switzerland.

Very nice hotel, great concierge service. The hotel is a 5 minute walking to the shopping district and a 10 minute taxi drive to the airport. Everybody at the hotel is very nice and helpful. Far better service than the Ritz's I have stayed at in other countries. Great international hotel, pricing is reasonable given that it is a world-class hotel in Geneva.
