Brief History

If you want to relax, then head to Rizal Park where you can see the monument of Jose Rizal and dancing fountains. A stroll along Roxas Boulevard offers you breathtaking views of the Manila Bay.
Transportation
The jeepneys and buses dominate the streets of Manila, but traffic can slow you down. The LRT and MRT are faster but make sure to avail of stored value tickets to save up and avoid the long queue. Pedicabs and tricycles are for short-distance travels while the horse-drawn carriage and boat cruises are perfect for sightseeing.
