Maritim Antonine Hotel and Spa first opened its doors to its guest in August 2002 greeted by the MARITIM logo of the three flags. The hotel is built in a Maltese style with the colours and natural materials of the island. The style of the hotel mirrors the development of Maltese architecture throughout the ages.

The Maritim Antonine Hotel and Spa is a newly built hotel with a luxurious spa and is situated near Malta`s longest sandy beach, making it a perfect choice for leisure travellers. Guests arriving to the airport can easily catch a taxi to reach the hotel; taxis are situated around the island. Malta also has a network of busses that run across the island, and a bus stop is located conveniently in front of the hotel.
The island of Malta is full of rich history and entertainment. Guests of the Maritim Antonine Hotel and Spa should be sure to visit the Gozo Island, which is also known as the Isle of Calypso. It is said to be the location of the Greek mythological poem "Homer`s Odyssey", where myth has it that Calypso detained the hero of the story Odysseus as a prisoner of love.
Around the island guests will find plenty of exciting water sports to keep them busy. The Ggantija temples are also a famous nearby attraction for many tourists.
