Best in Town
I have gone to Heraklion three times and every time we have stayed here. I will agree it is only a 2 star hotel in terms of rooms and amenities, but the location, service, and price can NOT be beat! The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating, and the hotel is located right in the heart of the city within walking distance to anywhere you need to be. A traditional Greek breakfast is served every morning and the staff always greets you with a smile and "Calimera (goodmorning)". Save your money by staying here instead of the more expensive places, we have been happy we did!
