Melpo is a friendly family run hotel that welcomed its first guests back in 1982. The hotel believes that a harmonious and happy environment starts from the service provider.

* Sports & Recreation If you are the active kind of person, then you will find yourself with endless choices in Crete. There are two water fun-parks near Hersonisos (20 and 40 minutes away from the hotel by car). There are also clubs that organize mountain biking, climbing, trekking, paragliding and scuba diving. On top of all these, there is the golf course in Hersonisos. It has 18 runways and covers a total expanse of 720.000 m². The desert-style course is Par 72 Championship Standard and 6400 yards long. There are two driving ranges and a state of the Art Academy with practice putting greens and Short game practice area. Four sets of tee positions on each hole will make it a challenging course for golfers of all levels. The course also comes with a full range of practice facilities for tourists, novice golfers and golf club members.

* Melpo Hotel consists of 40 comfortable rooms. Melpo is maintained every year, and three renovations have occurred during the 21 years of its operation, the last one took place in 2001.
* The rooms are furnished with hand-made fittings, following the Cretan style. There are three different types of rooms: singles, doubles, and triples each with its own bathroom.
* Baby cots are offered on request in order to accommodate a family of two adults and a child. Families with four or more members are offered rooms next to each other.
* Melpo's rooms have a balcony with outdoor table and chairs, in order to enjoy the view across the sea or the traditional villages on the mountains, independent air conditioning, radio and direct dial telephone. |

| CANCELLATION POLICY |

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of Melpo Hotel Crete.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
