A typical Mercure Experience. Excellent Service, Nice Rooms, Very Professional Atmosphere , Excellent Personnel. The only thing that you may want to consider is whether or not you want to actually stay in the Batalha Area since as far as I can say from my experience , I wouldn't say that I liked it a lot. Especially at nights where you have to have your eyes open and you can not be by any means relaxed and just wonder around.

The hotel has some very impressive views, especially from the dining room. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms large and clean.
Breakfast is excellent and you must eat dinner in the hotel restaurant!
Walking in Porto is good if you like hills! Many useful buses stop outside the hotel. The main railway station is just below the hotel!
However the noise is not intrusive (unless you like lots of fresh air with the windows open!) Air conditioning. Would definitely stay again!
