We spent 3 nights recently at the Taverna and had a very good experience. We chose it for the location - which is indeed excellent - but were pleased with just about everything. It is a great value for the money. Plus: location, price, service, breakfast Minus: Rooms and bathrooms a bit small (though certainly not a "deal-breaker")

This hotel is in a great location for walking around the city and getting to the Metro stations. The rooms are small with possibly the smallest bathroom I have ever seen with just a shower not a bath. However, they were very clean. The room had a minibar but no room service and no tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was reasonable but very busy. I would recommend staying here for the price and location but would probably stay at the Inter-Continental if I had the spare cash.
