Beautiful, but far away from city life
They put our room in the middle of rooms undergoing reconstruction. I consider that very unprofessional form Accor/Mercure chain. Should at least inform. Located 10m drive from downtown.
I hate to give a lot of minus points for Mercure that we are usually happy with. But this time our room was on a noisy floor with hammer machines and dust like fog. The room was very comfortable and renovated, but you feel like when the subway station is being build around you. The building of the hotel is fantastic, but to far if you want to get the Bordeaux like we do. Get a romantic small family hotel or a Quality hotel in the heart of downtown to feel the real Bordeaux life at night

Excellent Service
My entire family stayed here for several days before my wedding and the staff was extremely accomodating, in French and in English for both sides. The rooms were spacious and clean, the restaurant was average at dinner but the buffet breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Located not in the centre, but not too far to walk to downtown. Overall highly recommended.
