Nov 9, 2007 Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais Hotel is the 3 star beachfront hotel. The hotel is located in the heart of Nice on the famous Promenade des Anglais.

The hotel offers many modern facilities and services as well as a friendly and attentive staff. Guests will enjoy their stay in Nice which is not only a relaxing destination, but also one of culture with its numerous museums, shops and festivals.

LOCATION

Mercure Nice Promenade Des Anglais Hotel is located in the Casino Ruhl building on the famous Promenade des Anglais. The hotel is near the historical attractions, museums and monuments. Also near to the theatre district. Moreover, the hotel is just steps away from the old part of the town and is flanked on its eastern side by the ancient trees of the Albert I Park.

Nice is very ancient, inhabited for 400,000 years, the "modern" city of Nikaia was established by the Greeks. The Romans may have started the tourism with their extensive baths on Cimiez. In spite of modernization, the city retains its medieval heritage in the vieille ville (old town), with its narrow winding streets and closely-packed red-tiled roofs.

great value for money

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Mercure Nice Promenade Des Anglais. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly and the hotel very comfortable and well-situated. Our room overlooked the street and the sea but was not noisy thanks to the double insulation of 2 patio doors. Our bed linen was changed daily and there was a good selection of toiletries. We had a wonderful breakfast with a vast selection of hot and cold stuff. Moreover, the location of the hotel was excellent. you are just off one of the main side streets were there are plenty of shops and restaurants a stones through away. I would certainly recommend Mercure Nice Promenade Des Anglais and pay another visit in a near future. Overall, our experience did well worth the vlaue.
