two night stay
very nice hotel breakfast average dining room staff not very friendly slow to clear used tables only one pat of butter between two both mornings lucky we did'nt want toast

Just one complaint
Stayed for three nights with Mastermind Club and found the hotel the best we've ever stayed in over many years.
Pleasant helpful staff, very good food, comfortable well- appointed room. Did have a problem finding the way there by road. Looked on the web the night before, rang hotel to confirm the way I'd found, not satisfied on further reflection, emailed our secretary (already there) and after three emails he finally got me a good route from the M5. Jn 30, A 379 to Countess Wear roundabout, right onto A3015 Topsham Road to Western Way, and right following sign Princessway. Told acting manager on Sunday the trouble I'd had and how inaccurate or incomplete the map on the web was. She said the web site had very accurate directions and printed me out a copy, which was indeed, satisfactory. Just looked up the website from home and find "Map and Area Info" giving no directions at all; and the map which calls Topsham Road B3183 and doesn't mention the Princesshay sign.
