The beautiful 4 star Metropole Hotel & Spa is located directly on the banks of the Saone River, just 5 minutes from Place Bellecour. Relax and rejuvenate in luxury as you enjoy the wide variety of Spa features such as: hammams, saunas, an indoor and outdoor pool, massages and treatments, a fitness room, and hydromassage pool. The hotel offers extensive sports facilities, including tennis and an Olympic-size swimming pool.

LOCATION

Metropole Hotel & Spa is ideally located on the banks of the Saone River, five minutes from the Bellecour square. The hotel is the perfect place to combined business, sport and wellness.

Lyon is almost as good a place for nightlife and entertainment as it is for eating, with a good range of clubs, cinema, opera, jazz, classical music concerts and theatre.

The best places to wander if you are looking for a bar are rue Merciere and rue de la Monnaie and, most particularly, the streets of Vieux-Lyon, especially the southern part around the place Bertras, next to the eglise St-Georges. And make a point of crossing the river by the passerelles; the whole district looks magnificent at night.
