i stayed in the hotel for a week and i found it good, although there is a buffet restaruant on the ground floor it is only ok, it would be more worth your while to try the restaraunts down the strip.there is also a bar on the top and ground floors but there is no atmosphere at all. i would recommend the hotel as the best i have seen in montechoro and it is situated in the perfect place in the middle of everything. the pool is top craic because of the diving board and there are plenty of sunbeds to top up your tan.the best part is that it is right beside the best irish pub i have been in called the Erins Isle, give it a look if you have some Irish in you. all in all a great hotel and resort.

Enjoyed my 4 day stay in June 04. Located next to "the strip" so plenty of night life and lots of bars/ restaurants very close by. A bit far from the centre of Albufeira.
Large rooms with balconies. Furnishings a bit dated but room was very clean. Staff generally very helpful.
As in most places, tough to get a sun lounger by the pool although most people seemed to have left by 5 (leaving just a group of fat, balding, annoying Russians trying to take over the pool).
Overall, a decent hotel and I'd stay again if the opportunity arose.
