I returned from the Hotel Montholon today after a very happy six days there. It is very handy for the MÃ©tro, but within easy walking distance of OpÃ©ra and Gare du Nord. My room was comfortable, quiet (overlooking the courtyard at the back) and very clean. The bathroom had a good shower with constant hot water and a hair dryer. Breakfasts were good with fresh bread, croissants, choice of preserves, cereals, cheese, eggs etc. and the offer of a daily newspaper. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly and I shall stay there again next time I get over to Paris. Incidentally, there is a Cyber CafÃ© next door which I found very useful.

I can say i have being from 1 to 5 stars hotels in many countries. This hotel was charming, small, very close to everywhere and with clean toilets which I very much look very carefully.

Stayed with the family during Spring Break. The Staff was friendly and helpful. Waliking distance to Metro, and bus stop right in front of the hotel. Did not have breakfast at the hotel, but there are several eating places within a short walking distance. For the price, the hotel is a good deal!
