Very enjoyable stay at Morrison Hotel
After a quick flight from London, we arrived at the Morrison. The lobby is spacious with extremely high ceiling with a very modern decor. Contrary to many reviews on the Morrison, the staff was very very helpful and polite. the receptionist that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. We booked the Georgian suit and made our way to the room. Surprisingly wide corridors immediately gave it a very luxurious feel, and the door to our suite was tucked away with a very private entrance.
Inside the room was very spacious and superbly decorated, with river front views.
The bathroom had 2 basins and as promised the deep sunken bath along with all frills of a good hotel.
We ordered room serve a few times and they were always prompt and polite, and the best bit was the breakfast in bed, with an extensive array of foods, at quite a decent price.
In addition, Morrison is well situated, just across the river from Temple Bar with a huge range of eating and drinking options. All other major places in Dublin are but a short walk away.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable sty at Morrison, and would definitely recommend and pay another visit myself some time in near future.

This hotel is fab. Don't listen to the doubters, try it out for yourself. It is in an excellent location, has polite, friendly and efficient staff, and is the epitome of 'zen' chic. A particularly great place for a weekend or a mini break. If you are very conservative or very traditional, unwilling to try new things or prefer chintz, then this hotel is not for you. As for the lighting or working the toilet flush - only the blind or intellectually challenged need be concerned. Book in - try it - enjoy! You are extremely unlikely to be sorry.

My stay in Dublin was made even better by staying at The Morrison. My room was quite spacious, with a nice seating area, original artwork, a very comfortable bed, and a great view of the river. Breakfast was included, which I found to be excellent on all three mornings, and the room was so comfortable that I actually cut into my sightseeing to sleep in and lounge around in the morning. If I am ever in Dublin again, I will no doubt stay there again!

I took my boyfriend to Dublin as a suprise for his Birthday and we stayed at the Morrison. Great location, a stone's throw from Temple Bar but across the river so that it's quiet.
Inside is really nice, very modern decor, with a cool bar.
Room was very nice, with a well stocked mini bar and big fluffy bathrobes.
There was scaffolding at the back when we stayed and they started banging about quiet early, so check they've gone before you go. Also we didn't have any sort of welcome pack in our room, but not a big deal.
If you are a smoker and want to have a drink, go to the actual Temple Bar as they have an area in the middle of the pub which has no roof and you can get away with smoking here!

Wonderful hotel in great location - we had a very pleasant overnight trip to Dublin. Got it cheapest on laterooms
Better than a lot of 5 stars I've stayed in. Modern and very tasteful decor.
Quiet.
Atmospheric bar downstairs.
Will definitely stay there again.

This hotel is one of those you'll want to keep returning to - overlooking the Liffey and only a few minutes walk over the bridger to Temple Bar. Our first trip to Dublin - what a great choice of hotel. The reception staff were fantastic & keen to help. Can recommend Halo, the hotel restaurant but check breakfast is included in your deal though.
The cold breakfast buffet was more impressive than the hot one with a good selection of fruit etc for a city hotel.
The room was compact but reasonably generous - and bed gorgeously comfy ! Only complaint was that the electrical wiring had to be done by a bald person who never uses a hairdryer - no plug socket within stretching distance of a mirror.
Hopefully this will be rectified when the hotel opens rooms in the new extension later this year.

The Morrison Hotel could not be faulted, but then who could fault a hotel that stocks Molton Brown toiletries! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, stylish, modern and spacious. Service to the room was very fast. Breakfast was highly satisfactory too... I highly recommend the pancakes! Location of the hotel was excellent - Right near a bridge crossing directly into Temple Bar. Unlike with some establishments, the photos of this hotel show it for exactly what it is. Enjoy!

Hi
Me and my boyfriend went for a long weekend to Dublin 28 Jan 04- 01 Feb 04. The hotel was amazing and We both felt extemely welcome from the first moment. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was very modern. Mini bar was very handy. The location was Brill too only minutes walk from temple bar but just far enough away not to hear the nightlife of busy Dublin. The nightclub downstair was really good on Fridays and Saturday, with free entry for hotel guests. Breakfast was out of this world! Make sure you have the Pancakes and strawberrys. They also deliver as room serivce for 10%. If you like Italian I suggest Bocellini over the bridge. Very traditional and quite cheap for dublin
Overall it was a fantastic holiday and would go back.
