great hotel
I stayed here in May 08 got a great deal through Otel and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Rooms were very clean and comfortable bathroom was all new and gorgeous and plenty of towels and toiletries which were replaced each day. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of everything to keep you going whole day but best of all The Staff were excellent very helpful even though we arrived very early in a.m our room was ready nothing was to much trouble. Also free internet in lobby.Will return5+

inexpensive but very comfortable
We were a family staying at National Hotel over a weekend. It was a wonderful place for the price offered. On the top of everything, the location was fabulous - across the street from the Main Train Station. The fairgrounds are within 10 minutes walking distance as well as the banking and the shopping areas. The rooms were cozy and very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. National Hotel was inexpensive and yet more comfortable than many expensive hotels we have stayed at.

Very Central
Ideal location next to the main station which has direct line to the Airport. In town centre so handy for xmas markets when we were there. Frankfurt was a lovely city although much seemed to be closed around the river out of season.

It's Ok - just a bit old
The breakfast was good, the service was ok. The room had everything you needed and the internet access was not too expensive. The whole building seemed a bit old, with decent but outdated furniture. It was nice in a way, as it reminded me of my grandparents and their humble lives. The room was small with a single bed but overall it was good. Being across the road from the Main station it was easy to commute to parts of Frankfurt.
