On the outside, the former head office of the Holland-Amerika Lijn has a cosmopolitan feel: its facade is symmetrical in design, with balconies, dormer windows, towers and decorations; the style to which most grand hotels built around 1880 adhered. In addition, the building is magnificently situated, with views of the city's skyline, the harbour and the river - another precondition for a Grand Hotel. At night you can experience the peace and tranquillity of a hotel on the waterfront. From the building's many vantage points, you can watch the often spectacular sunsets, while the windows afford views of the clouds and city lights.
Hotel New York has two towers, both of which are hotelrooms. While 19th century hotels had carriages with a regular coachman, and later a limousine with chauffeur, this hotel offers the services of a watertaxi with skipper! This means you will be in the Veerhaven (old ferry harbour) directly opposite to the hotel in 5 minutes. If you prefer to be ferried to the towncentre, you can get off at Leuvehaven. |

Hotel New York is located on the Kop van Zuid, an area with imposing architecture, near to the centre of Rotterdam.
The famous Luxor Theatre is just a short stroll from the cafés and restaurants of the town centre and is just a short hop by water taxi from the hotel.
Other attractions such as the football stadium De Kuip and the multi-purpose hall Ahoy are just 10 minutes by metro.
Furthermore, the Euromast, Kunsthal (exhibition centre) and the Maritime Museum are also nearby and worth a trip. |

* Daily check-in starts at 14:00. On the day of departure, you need to check out before 12:00. It is possible to temporarily deposit your luggage at the reception desk.
* Hotel New York offers wifi access throughout the hotel, meaning in all rooms, as well in its restaurant and function rooms. You can use your laptop for wireless access via your credit card or with a voucher from the reception desk. If your laptop does not allow wireless internet access, you can call on the reception desk for a wireless network card. Function room reservations may include the rent of a laptop with a network card. If you travel without a laptop, you can access the internet with your credit card through computer in the hotel lobby.
* The hotel offers valet laundry and dry cleaning services. On weekdays, clothes left at reception desk before 10:00 are ready before 18:00 the same day. Clothes can be deposited in a special laundry bag together with a filled-out price list, both of which you will find in one of the closets in your hotel room. This service is not available during weekends and on public holidays.
* Room prices do deliberately not include breakfast, because some guests like to have a full breakfast, where others grab a cup of coffee and a croissant and jump into the Watertaxi. |

All rooms are doubles, offering a bathroom with shower and/or bath, toilet, telephone, television-with-radio and optional wireless internet. The high-ceilinged rooms are large and most of them have riverview. All rooms are air-conditioned. Hotel New York is situated in a charming and distinctively arranged building. |

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of NEW YORK Hotel Rotterdam.
2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
