The first thing that hits you is how friendly the staff is. Its a very old hotel but is ran in a modern way. Nothing is too much trouble.The food is great.Try out the room with a four poster bed its reputed to be from the 16th century.I certainly will stay again when in the Cotswolds. It is an ideal location to visit the surrounding areas.One could describe it as quintessentially EnglishA satisfied customer

I love the Noel Arms. I have stayed there a few times. It represents excellent value for money, the food is exceptional, the atmosphere is peaceful and the hotel is comfortable with heaps of character. I would highly recommend the Noel Arms.

Felt trepidation after reading one review here but boy, things must have changed at Noel Arms recently. It's been taken over by the owners of Cotswold House Hotel opposite, and it's obviously been revolutionised. No sign of dirt or malfunctions! The staff were really charming, especially the manager, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The Dover's Bar has a lovely traditional pub feel and some great bar snacks, but the Oriental restaurant came as a very pleasant surprise. Excellent dinner, beautifully presented, with lots of dishes with Far East inflences (choices for my not-so-keen-on-Oriental husband too!) Atmosphere, especially breakfast in the Conservatory, made for a lovely weekend discovering the Cotswolds and this lovely town.
