Cosy hotel with basic facilities
I've stayed at Norlandia Star Hotel for 3 days and i liked it. It is ideally located in downtown Copenhagen only a few minutes walk from the central railway station. "Tivoli Gardens" which is a famous amusement park and pleasure garden is a stone's throw away from the hotel, very nice! About the accomodation, well, the room i stayed in was a small but comfortable room with basic facilities. The hotel has a cosy bar and a lovely breakfast restaurant where you can enjoy a rich breakfast. As i said earlier, i did enjoy may stay at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable stay with basic facilities in Copenhagen.

Overall good value
We have stayed in Norlandia Star Hotel for 2 nights and we found it to be one of cheaper hotels in Copenhagen but overall good value. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the main station. This is through the back entrance of the station so there are often a few odd looking characters around as you leave the station but still it is a safe area.
I have stayed at Norlandia Star a few times before, we have noticed that the quality and cleanliness has improved since it became part of the Norwegian Norlandia Group. Certainly not one of the best Copenhagen hotels but its nearness to the station and the main attractions outweighs it being on the ’wrong’ side of the station. For the price paid I would definitely return to Norlandia Star.
