Delightful
We stayed reently at this hotel, it was delightful, staff were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was an added bonus. It was near to everything we required and very clean. I would recommend this hotel, and have done so, to many of my friends. We shall return!!! |

It's the third time that I stayed @ Novotel Manchester City Center in less than a year. (Please, keep in mind that there are two Hotel Novotel in Manchester -- City Center and West) I like it since it's very modern in design. The staff are very helpful and accomodating. The rooms are big and so is the bathroom.
Location -- being @ the city center, it's close to the shopping area, great restaurants, bars, and pubs.
Ideal for business or pleasure trip. For family or single traveller. |

No, it's not luxury - but it's fantastic value for money. What lets it down is the basic level of comfort in the bedrooms - flat carpet, hard beds and no mini-bar. But they're very roomy and clean. The rest of the hotel is absolutely lovely. The decor is modern, the atmosphere relaxed and the staff friendly and helpful. The bar looks five-star, but with three-star prices. The breakfast is fab - a buffet including everything imaginable, and the cooked breakfast cooked to perfection. Great location - check out the Circus Tavern just up the road for the most original (and tiny) pub in Manchester city centre. And the amazing nightlife that is Canal Street is just minutes away. I will be back! |

The location of this hotel is second to none - right by the gates of Chinatown, with everything on your doorstep. The rooms are a good size, very clean and well decorated.
Parking is extra and charged by the hour - 24 hours parking is ?13, although there are probably cheaper public car parks around. The breakfast is very good but pricey at ?12, so if you want breakfast book a rate which includes it.
We had a slight problem with the room configuration we had booked, and initially they tried to charge us extra to sort it out, however eventually this was all sorted out to our satisfaction.
I was also very impressed with how helpful the staff were - after I left an item of clothing behind they kindly sent it on to me free of charge. |
