This hotel, renovated in 2006, has set the standard for deluxe accommodation in Japan for more than 30 years. With 834 rooms spread over two wings, the hotel hosts foreign dignitaries and VIPs on an almost daily basis, and represents the zenith of Japanese customer service. It houses 8 restaurants, a coffee shop, 3 bars and a Japanese tearoom, and there is even a museum on the hotel grounds. Guests are welcomed into the fully air-conditioned hotel lobby, which has a 24-hour reception and check-out service. The lobby is also equipped with a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, lift access and a cloakroom. Furthermore, there is a café and bar, newspaper stand and a hairdressing salon. Conference facilities and room and laundry services are also available, whilst guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the nearby car park.
