An Authentic Voyage from ship to hotel...

The ship "Turan Emeksiz" carried passengers on the Bosphorus for many
years. It has been converted into a floating hotel which is anchored in
Guzelyali Marina and its cafe and restaurant are now visited by a
distinguished clientele. The hotel is called the "Otantik Hotel" and
it is the only one of its type in Turkey.

After it had served for 45 years as a passenger ship, the BCR Company bought the ship and obtained privatisation status for it. Restoration of the "Turan Emeksiz" passenger ship lasted two years.The restoration project was carried out by the architect Hulki Türe. The nostalgic structure of the ship has been attractively blended with a modern decorative style. The ship is now anchored in Guzelyali Marina, on the Marmara Sea near Bursa. It has been turned into a comfortable and chic hotel called the Otantik Hotel, which still remains faithful to the original structure of the ship. The hotel is the ideal place for your accommodation needs, or for enjoyable parties, receptions and meals.

Boutique style Ship Otel is 250 m. near the Mudanya, Güzelyalı Ferry Stage,in yacht marina.

The Otel has a distance 23 km. from Bursa City Center and İstanbul is just 75 min away.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* Enjoy the sea in winter or summer in the Miyar Fish Restaurant. It is plannes that the open on the bridge deck will be closed off with windows and used as a restaurant where you can enjoy being at sea in any of the four seasons.The restaurant will be called the "Miyar (compass) Fish Restaurant". The restaurant will have seating capacity for 75 people, and the fish specialties of the Mediterranean cuisine will be served.

* Watch the sunset, the moonlight and the sunrise...The stern deck of the ship has become the "Stern Restaurant", with a seating capacity for 200 people. It can also be used for cocktail parties, with capacity for 500 people. On summer evenings in the "Stern Restaurant", while watching a glorious sunset, you can enjoy the healthy delights of Mediterranean cuisine accompanied by a refreshing
drink.

* The central section of the Miyar Restaurant has been designed as a bar
called the "Filika Bar", which has a sea view on both sides to add to
your enjoyment of your drinks.

* The passenger lounge of the ship has been converted into a nostalgic cafe called the "Quay Lounge", which can comfortably accomodate 60 customers. The original lifebelts, seats and tables have been retained, the only thing that was changed was that the leather covering on the seats was renewed. Starting with breakfast, the Quay Lounge is open at all times.

* The "Karina Lounge" is in the lowest part of the ship and has been designed as
a multi-purpose area, suitable for meetings, engagement parties, wedding receptions and other parties and events, with seating capacity for 150 people. It is ideal for the memorable times in your life with your family and friends. It has its own stage, and it can be used as a cinema with seating capacity for 200 people. The most striking characteristic of the Karina Lounge is the amazing
lighting system on the ceiling. Since the Karina Lounge is below the water level, the most up-to-date technology has been used to insulate and protect the lounge from the sea, including an alarm system.

* The "Alabanda" meeting and conference room has been created as a continuation
of the Quay Lounge. Here also, the decor remains faithful to the original
structure of the ship.
