Situated on the banks of the Azmak River, the Ottoman Residence opened in May 2005. The Ottoman Residence is reminiscent of an Ottoman Han, the rooms overlooking a central courtyard with a water feature. Built in the Mugla style, natural wood was used extensively in the construction of the hotel and incorporates the 500 year old Ottoman details and motifs.

Built and designed by Tevfik Toprakçı, who is a well known architect in the area, this was his masterpiece and he has paid attention to every detail for example the different motifs which are depicted on the backs of chairs and below the handrails, have been copied from ancient structures. Most of the pictures used in the Ottoman Residence are original paintings and represent scenes from the Akyaka area.

Ottoman Residence is located in Akyaka where is an idyllic beach resort at the head of the Gulf of Gökova, nestling in deep pine forests and eucalyptus woods, with a backdrop of the majestic Sakar Tepe mountains.

Regular BBQ nights are organised during the week with lots of variety on the menu to keep your taste buds satisfied throughout your stay. * The river behind the Ottoman Residence is called 'Woman Azmak'. This women image was the inspiration in creating the swimming pool along with the mosaic tiles as flooring which represents a women's breast. Sunloungers and shades are dotted around the pool or unwind on the jumbo cushions, hammocks and comfortable garden furniture down by the river. Ideal for couples who appreciate a quite and totally relaxed atmosphere.
