Stylish hotel in an excellent location. Attentive service from pleasant staff. Only minor gripe was that food took what seemed forever in the restaurant. Excellent when it arrived from the open kitchen, though.
Will certainly stay on my next visit.

The place to stay in Hamburg if you hate driving or going by cab! Location is perfect to all downtown attractions, restaurants, the Alster. Modern, airy rooms with great service all around. The bathrooms were roomy and well lit. Try the Muesli at the unbelievable breakfast buffet, they do it better than in Switzerland. Ask for rooms facing the perfectly quiet courtyard. Very helpful concierge staff. Would always come back to this nice place.

Just came back from a perfect 3-night-stay in May 2004 at this beautiful, quiet and well-managed hotel. The central location, the staff and their outstanding service (and always friendly faces) make the Park Hyatt Hamburg a special place. A special "thumbs up" to the very helpful front desk, the excellent housekeeping and the creative kitchen staff with their phenomenal breakfast buffet. The Park Hyatt is beautiful hotel in a great Hamburg location. It's close to shopping and most major sights. The service was excellent, the workout room and spa outstanding and the restaurant also very good.

The Park Hyatt Hamburg is a top-drawer business hotel in the heart of downtown Hamburg. The hotel provides attentive service. The staff is multilingual.
The hotel is decorated with copius quantities of rich wood. The Park Lounge is a comfortable place to relax for a drink or a light snack. The Regency Club floor (7th) provides an even higher level of service with private check-in/check-out privileges, lounge, breakfast and evening cocktail hour from 6-8pm (Wine,Beer, Light snacks). Afternoon tee served as well with tasty cakes and the like.
The concierge staff is quite adept at securing otherwise difficult to attain concert tickets and providing useful advise to the traveler. Parking is available for a fee. The hotel also has a better than average health club in the basement, Club Olympus, available to all hotel guests. The Park Hyatt is on monkenbergstrasse between the Hauptbahnhoff and the Ratthaus, the primary shopping district in Hamburg.
