A disappointing experience

Our room in the hotel was in need of a complete refurbishment. The business centre is a joke by Singapore standards and charges to use it are by no means nominal. The barman at the Lobby bar called last orders at 10.25pm when the bar was advertised to close at 11.00pm

Recent stay

Upon arrival, we managed to check in 2 hours earlier which was good. Staff very helpful and friendly, although their English wasn't too good but better than our Chinese! We had booked 2 rooms both on the same floor (1 for my Mum who is 93 years of age) her room had been allocated on floor 17 with ours on 16th floor, this was soon changed, then they gave her a room where the 2 single beds where to be pushed together and our room had 2 singles which couldn't be moved, in the end we changed rooms between ourselves. Location was good as pretty central. Prices of purchases from cafes had increased since our previous visit 3 years ago. All in all it was a welcome stopver for us all, mini bar wasn't cheap so we didn't indulge! Also the hotels bar wasn' cheap by all means. Good idea for the safe in the rooms. Would stay there again
