Pestana Porto Hotel forms part of a block of town houses dating from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Situated in the Praca da Ribeira, heart of the historical centre of Porto and constructed on part of the mediaeval city wall.

* Breakfast is served from 07.30 to 10.30, and lunch from 12.30 to 15.30. Dinner is served from 19.30 to 22.30.
* After your meal, drop in at the Bar Heritage Café for a fine drink and some pleasant conversation in a congenial atmosphere. If you appreciate the sound of jazz or bossa nova, the Pestana Porto offers you live music at the hotel bar and suggests an original beverage at a special price. Despite the fact that the square in front of the hotel was being renovated, this hotel looked clean and welcoming, which turned out to be true. The location is perfect since it is right at the river and just a short and nice stroll to the double-decked bridge ...
The hotel itself is a bit dated, but request a room in front and you will forget all about it once you throw open the balcony doors a catch your first view of the Port houses across the river....breathtaking! ...and, all just a short walk away! You are here fo...
We stayed for 2 nights, in a corner room facing the river and the square. The room was excelent, and the view just great, overlooking the Port wine lodges.
It is not far from the other sights in Porto.
We would defintively stay here again.
